POONCH, OCTOBER 25: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a joint meeting of Revenue and Army to discuss the land acquisition,/Requisition/De-Requisition/Misc issues pertaining to defense land, here at the conference hall of DC Office Complex.
The meeting was attended by the Station Headquarter 93 Infantry Brigade C/o56 APO, Station Headquarter 10 Infantry Brigade c/o 56 APO, Station Headquarter 120 Infantry Brigade C/o 56 APO, All Tehsildars, Head Quarter Assistant, Deputy Custodian Evacuee property Poonch besides other concerned officers.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on various issues related to the release of rental compensation, and other relevant issues related to defense land hiring were discussed in detail.
The DC instructed the Revenue department to provide all the document-related requirements of the Army within 10 days and resolve all land-related issues such as Joint verification, demarcation, etc. in a time-bound manner so that genuine landowners get the compensation in time. He also set a timeline for land demarcation and providing of revenue documents for each case.
