UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 19: The progress of work on Tirchi- Gandala road being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) was today inspected by the District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla, during the tour of the area.
The DDC inspected various worksites and enquired about the progress of road construction. The DDC issued on the spot instructions to concerned officers for completion of ongoing works in a stipulated time frame without compromising on the quality. He asked the PMGSY department to gear up men and machinery and complete the ongoing works as per the set targets.
The DDC called for resolving the bottlenecks if any on priority so that execution of the road shall not be delayed. He stressed on completion of all sanctioned roads so that people can avail the benefits of developmental projects. He asked PMGSY authorities to submit daily project-wise reports to his office.
Among others present were Superintendent Engineer, PWD, Shakti Sagar, Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan, Xen PMGSY, Devi Dayal, Executive Engineer, PHE Taj Choudhary, Xen PDD, Rajinder Gupta besides other officers of concerned departments and contractors.
