DDC Vice Chairperson conducts public outreach programs at Chassote, Badder

Meets public deputations, assures provision of basic facilities

MAHORE, MARCH 18: Vice Chairperson District Development Council, Reasi, Sajra Qadir today conducted public outreach programmes at Chassote, Larh, and Badder Panchayats and took stock of local problems and developmental needs.

During the outreach program, the locals raised issues regarding road connectivity, shortage of staff in schools, water supply, upgrading of power infrastructure, construction of link roads in the area, among other issues of public importance.

The Vice-Chairperson, during her day-long events, met several public deputations at Chassote, Larh,  Badder, and other locations of this hilly region.  She gave a patient hearing to the public grievances and issued directions to officers accompanying her for immediate redress of the genuine demands.

She directed all the officers to ensure a prompt and proactive approach towards the public grievances and issues of the people raised in public outreach programmes held in the backward areas of the district.

She also urged the people to take benefits of government schemes like PMGSY, water supply schemes, road compensation, PMKISAN, Jal Shakti, pensions, and other insurance-related schemes that are meant to benefit the marginalized and poor families living in far-flung areas.

During the outreach programmes, Vice-Chairperson was accompanied by Block Development Officers of Mahore and Chassana, ZEO, AEs, JEs, and other officers of various sectors.
