JAMMU, JANUARY 25: District Election Authority (DEA), Jammu, under the guidance of District Election Officer, Sushma Chauhan, today organized a function in connection with the celebration of 11th National Voters’ Day, here in the Conference Hall of DC Office.
The function was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Satish Sharma, which was also attended by Dy. District Election Officer, Gul Hussain Kriapak; Chief Planning Officer, Joginder Singh Katoch; Nodal Officer SVEEP, Devinder Singh Manhas, his team members, and Campus Ambassadors.
The newly registered voters were felicitated with EPICs and Badges. The meritorious BLOs and other functionaries were facilitated with appreciation certificates for their outstanding performances in the election field.
A PPT presentation by the SVEEP team about the journey of Electoral Literacy Clubs during different elections was highly appreciated by the dignitaries present.
The ADC threw light on the importance of National Voters’ Day and appreciated the functionaries for their excellent performances and exhorted them to continue their selfless services in the future too.
