23-03-2022: Govt. Degree College Dudu Basantgarh, under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organized an Intra College Quiz competition on the eve of “Shaheedi Diwas” on 23 March 2022. The students, who participated in the competition, were divided into three groups namely Rajguru, Sukhdev and Bhagat Singh. At the end of the programme, all the students and staff members took pledge to build India as a nation of brotherhood and harmony.

The main objective of the programme was to shed light on the life of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and their impeccable contribution in the freedom struggle against British rule. While speaking on the occasion, principal of the college Dr Bhavnaish Chand asked the students to inculcate the teachings and philosophy of the great freedom fighters who selflessly sacrificed their lives for the nation.
On the basis of their overall performance, Team Rajguru stood first, Team Sukhdev secured the second position whereas Team Bhagat Singh won the third prize. Prof. Rahul Sharma, Dr Ravi Kumar, Prof. Mudasir and Prof. Vijay Kumar acted as jury members. The overall programme was organized by Prof. Rahul Sharma.
