New Delhi, May 18: University of Delhi has officially started the postgraduate admission process for the 2026 academic session under the updated National Education Policy framework. The university launched registrations through its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), allowing students across India to apply for multiple PG programmes online.
Officials stated that the revised admission structure focuses on interdisciplinary learning, digital processing, and flexibility in course selection. The university has also introduced modified eligibility guidelines for several departments to align with the evolving higher education reforms.
Students have been advised to complete the registration process within the notified schedule while carefully reviewing subject specific criteria. The administration said the changes are intended to improve accessibility and streamline admissions for thousands of applicants.
The new admission cycle reflects the growing influence of NEP reforms on India’s higher education institutions, especially in areas such as credit transfer, multidisciplinary education and skill based learning.
