01-07-2023 : Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, inaugurated huge Bhandara for the pilgrims of Shri Baba Amarnath Ji organised by President of All India Manhas Harnam Singh Manhas and Vice-President of Yuva Rajput Sabha Dilawar Singh and their team at Kunjwani Chowk in RS Pura-Jammu South Constituency.
Harnam Singh Manhas, president of the All India Manhas Biradari, organised a two-month long Bhandara for the devotees of Shri Baba Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The Vishal Bhandara was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria as the chief guest on the occasion. The inauguration ceremony in the presence of distinguished guests, community leaders and members of Yuva Rajput Sabha and dignitaries were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that the Harnam Singh, who is known for his unwavering commitment to promote unity, harmony and welfare of the society. The Deputy Mayor said that the huge Bhandara is being organised by Harnam Singh Manhas continuously for the last few years. He said that the Bhandara has been specially set up to cater to the needs of the Amarnath Yatris who go on the holy journey to the iconic Shri Amarnath Ji cave. He said that this is the third huge Bhandara of this Seva Dal and Food, water, tea, snacks, night rest, toilets, etc. have also been arranged for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatri in Bhandara. The Deputy Mayor Jammu congratulated Harnam Singh and his team for doing this pious work. He also assured the Seva Dal members of all possible help from the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
President of Manhas Biradari Harnam Singh Manhas expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Mayor of Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria for gracing the occasion and continuous support in making this initiative a reality. He said the facility will operate daily during the Amarnath Yatra season, offering wholesome and hygienic meals to the Yatris, ensuring that they are well-nourished throughout their pilgrimage.
