30th November 2024 | Bari Brahmana, Samba : Dogra Degree College organized an engaging and motivational session featuring Khushi Gupta, the visionary founder of HAPPY HEARTS, a sustainable crochet brand specializing in eco-friendly toys and plastic-free alternatives. Addressing an enthusiastic audience of students, Khushi shared her inspiring journey from a creative thinker to a successful entrepreneur and changemaker.
Khushi captivated her audience with the story of her entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the challenges and milestones that shaped her brand’s growth. “HAPPY HEARTS was born out of my passion for sustainability and creativity,” she said. “What began as a simple idea to replace plastic toys with handmade, biodegradable alternatives grew into a thriving business because of persistence and purpose.”
Her remarkable efforts have not only driven the success of her brand but also earned her recognition from prominent organizations such as Radio Mirchi, FICCI FLO, and the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. These accolades solidified her role as a leading advocate for sustainability and innovation.
During the session, Khushi emphasized the importance of embracing challenges, learning from failures, and staying committed to meaningful goals. “Failures are stepping stones to improvement,” she noted, urging students to align their ambitions with causes that create positive societal impact. The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Ms. Rachna Devi, Convenor of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), under the guidance of Principal Dr. Bela Thakur. The session began with a warm welcome by Ms. Rachna Devi and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Amarpreet Kaur, Lecturer at the Department of Commerce and IIC member.
