DOMA Pays Floral Tribute to Saint Mother Teresa on Her 116th Birth Anniversary

Jammu, August 26: The team of DOMA (Dalit, OBC, Minority and Adivasi) commemorated the 116th Birth Anniversary of Saint Mother Teresa with great reverence and respect, remembering her extraordinary life of compassion, service and dedication to humanity.

The programme was marked by floral tributes and cake cutting in loving memory of Saint Mother Teresa. Members of DOMA paid homage to the great humanitarian and recalled her selfless service to the poor, sick, neglected and marginalized sections of society.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R.K. Kalsotra. State President DOMA Confeseration, J&K highlighted the remarkable humanitarian legacy of Mother Teresa, particularly her dedicated service to people affected by leprosy and other neglected illnesses. He said that Mother Teresa’s life remains a powerful message of compassion, dignity and service to humanity, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

Mr. Ashu Peter Mattoo, President of All J&K Christian Sabha and a member of the DOMA team, also addressed the gathering and spoke about the special contribution of Mother Teresa to the service of humanity in India. He said that Mother Teresa dedicated her entire life to serving the poorest and most vulnerable people and made India her home while carrying a message of love, mercy and human dignity across the world.

Mr. Mattoo emphasized that Mother Teresa’s legacy should inspire the younger generation to come forward and work for the welfare of the marginalized, disadvantaged and suffering sections of society.

The participants reaffirmed that the best tribute to Saint Mother Teresa is to continue her mission of service, compassion, peace and dignity for every human being.

The programme was attended by prominent members of DOMA, including Mr. Stephen Masih, Mr. John Sabharwal and Mr. Vikas Mooman, along with other members and well-wishers.

The DOMA team observed that Saint Mother Teresa’s message continues to remain relevant even today, inspiring people to serve humanity with humility, love and dedication.
