07-08-2023 : In a strong show of commitment towards the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) under the leadership of Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad has laid out a clear and comprehensive roadmap for development. Addressing a public gathering in Bulandpur, Assar area of Doda district, Azad reiterated that DPAP’s sole agenda is to address the concerns and grievances of the general masses.
Having served as Chief Minister for a brief yet impactful two and a half years, Azad reassured the residents that DPAP stands for development and progress of the public in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that what sets DPAP apart is its ideology of unbiased and region-neutral development, aimed at uplifting all sections of society without any discrimination based on religion or region.
During his ongoing tour of the erstwhile Doda district, Azad stressed the importance of discipline and dedication among party workers. He made it clear that those who actively engage at the grassroots level and work diligently for the welfare of the people will be the ones to flourish within DPAP, rather than those who seek positions of power without genuine dedication.
Accountability is a key pillar of DPAP’s political philosophy, as Azad highlighted. The party’s motto revolves around working for the welfare of the people at the grassroots level, leaving no room for indolent leaders or workers. By focusing on the grant of rights concerning land, jobs, and resources, DPAP aims to ensure that the natives of Jammu and Kashmir regain their essential rights that are close to their hearts. The party is determined to reverse any decisions that have adversely affected the people on these crucial issues.
Azad underscored the challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir as a landlocked and border area, where employment opportunities for the youth are limited. Moreover, the region has endured the brunt of violence during the decades of terrorism, causing significant economic repercussions and making sustenance of livelihoods difficult for the people.
