New Delhi, Dec 01 : Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav has been unanimously re-elected as President of the International Cooperative Alliance–Asia Pacific (ICA-AP) during the 17th ICA-AP Regional Assembly held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The unopposed victory highlights the strong trust and confidence member nations place in his leadership.
Dr. Yadav credited the achievement to grassroots farmers, workers, artisans, and cooperators, noting that their unity is key to unlocking the full potential of cooperatives in the Asia-Pacific region.
With an illustrious career, Dr. Yadav has served as Chairman of KRIBHCO, President of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), and Vice President of ICA-AP from 2010 to 2021. He has also represented India in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, served as an MLA, and held board positions in NCCF, NAFED, and the International Raiffeisen Union in Germany.
