Srinagar, 25 Mar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Tuesday expressed sorrow over the devastating fire that ravaged Jalal Mohalla in Old Town Baramulla on Monday evening, resulting in the destruction of at least seven residential homes.
Dr. Farooq extends his heartfelt sympathies to the families affected by this tragedy and calls upon the administration to leave no stone unturned in providing necessary support and compensation to those who have suffered.
He urges the district administration to ensure that the affected families are provided with shelter and food until they are able to regain their independence. Additionally, he stresses the importance of promptly assessing the extent of the damages so that compensation can be promptly distributed to those in need.
In times of crisis, it is crucial that we come together as a community to support one another. Dr. Farooq Abdullah stands in solidarity with the people of Jalal Mohalla and pledges to do everything in his power to assist in their recovery efforts.
Meanwhile on the directions of Party president, District President Baramulla Adv. Shahid Ali led delegation visited the victim families to express solidarity with them during this difficult time.
