Srinagar, 31 Dec: On the occasion of the Gregorian New Year, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, the President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference extended his warmest greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
In his message, Dr. Farooq said, “As we bid farewell to the year gone by and welcome 2026, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of our beautiful region. The dawn of a new year is a time for hope, renewal, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. It is a time to reflect on the challenges we have faced, the lessons we have learned, and the bonds that have united us.”
He further added, “While we celebrate the start of this new year, let us remember the importance of peace, harmony, and prosperity for every citizen. The year 2026 presents us with an opportunity to work together, rebuild and advance the development of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring a future that is full of opportunities for all our youth and every family.”
