Srinagar, 25 Aug: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
Dr. Farooq while conveying his greetings said that Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ( SAW) is a sacred occasion to reflect upon the timeless message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the profound values he embodied.
“The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) are a beacon of mercy, compassion, justice and equality for all humanity. His message transcends every distinction of colour, creed, status and race, reminding us that all human beings are equal in dignity and deserving of justice and compassion. On this blessed occasion, let us renew our commitment to the values of brotherhood, peace, tolerance and service to humanity, and strive to build a society founded on justice, dignity and mutual respect.”
Omar Abdullah, in his message said that the blessed occasion provides an opportunity to draw inspiration from the exemplary life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and to reaffirm the values of compassion, equality and justice.
“Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) reminds us of the profound message of mercy, humanity and justice brought by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) His life remains an eternal example of compassion towards the weak, fairness towards all and respect for the dignity of every human being. May we imbibe these noble teachings in our lives, rise above divisions and work together for a society where equality, justice, peace and harmony prevail.”
The duo prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being for the people, and expressed hope that the sacred occasion would bring happiness, harmony and renewed faith to every home.
