Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah greet people on Ram Navmi

 Sagar, Kamal, Nasir also felicitate people on the auspicious eve 
Srinagar, 16 April: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, hoping the day augurs well for the increased prospects of peace and prosperity in the country.
In his message on the Ram Navami, which is also celebrated as a spring Hindu festival on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, Dr. Farooq said the festival is yet another glaring example of the massive and abundant cultural richness of the country, a source of wonder for people across the globe. He hoped that the festival is celebrated in its true traditional fervour, amity, and brotherhood, which he said have long been the template of Indian culture and ethos.
In his message, Omar Abdullah said, “May this auspicious occasion strengthen the bond of brotherhood and communal harmony in J&K and the country in general. I wish people a very Happy Ram Navami, hoping that the day augurs well for everlasting peace and prosperity in the entire region. I hope the festival is celebrated with traditional gaiety.”
Meanwhile, Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shami Oberoi, Provincial Presidents Nasir Sogami, Ratan Lal Gupta, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Political Advisors Mushtaq Guroo, Mudassar Shahmiri, Dr. Sameer Koul, JS Azad, Bhushan Lal Bhat have also greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, praying that the day strengthens the bonds of communal harmony, amity, prosperity and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.
