Srinagar, 07 Sept: A delegation from Mendhar, led by former MLA and National Conference candidate Mr. Javaid Rana called on the Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his residence in Gupkar.
During the meeting, dozens of political activists from Mendhar, including former ex General secretary and candidate of PDP Advocate Morifat Khan, joined the National Conference.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah warmly welcomed the new members into the party. Political advisor to the party’s vice president Mudassar Shahmiri, District President Rajouri Shafayat Ahmed khan were also present at the occasion. The Joining, Dr. Farooq said, will give a significant boost to the National Conference in the region, further strengthening its base on ground.
