Mumbai, Aug 29 : Emraan Hashmi is preparing to return to the live stage after nearly 19 years, with the actor set to headline two Bollywood-themed performances as he celebrates a new phase in his career.
Hashmi will perform in Bengaluru on August 29 before taking the show to Hyderabad on September 5. He will share the stage with DJ Ganesh and is expected to perform popular tracks associated with his film career.
The performances will give audiences an opportunity to hear Hashmi revisit songs from films including Murder, Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Jannat, titles that helped establish his distinctive musical presence in Hindi cinema.
His return to live entertainment comes after the success of Awarapan 2, which has added fresh momentum to his career. The actor’s stage comeback therefore combines nostalgia with a renewed connection with audiences.
Hashmi has long been associated with some of Bollywood’s most recognisable romantic and musical soundtracks. His screen appearances were frequently accompanied by songs that became closely identified with his on-screen persona.

According to reports, Hashmi is commanding a fee of around Rs 2 crore for the two appearances, underscoring the renewed interest surrounding his return to the entertainment circuit.
