Jammu, 27-02-2024 : Employees Provident Fund Organisation Jammu Office with the collaboration of BBIA conducted an awareness program of Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 for Industrial Fraternity at BBIA Bhawan in the presence of Sh. Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Sh. Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA, Sh. Ajay Langer Vice President, Sh. Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, Sh. Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer, Sh. Pritpal Singh, Assistant Section Officer, Sh. Shamsher Singh, Sr. SSA and Members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association.
While welcoming the officials of the EPFO, Jammu & Members of Industrial Fraternity, Sh. Lalit Mahajan, President, BBIA, in his presidential remarks appreciated the steps taken by the Employees Provident Fund organization, Jammu under the able guidance of Sh. Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, for providing best services to the registered Employees of the Industrial Fraternity and also for conducting such seminar to educate the Industrial Sector in respect of various schemes of EPFO which includes The Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952 (EPF), The Employees Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS), The Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 (EDLI).
While speaking on the occasion, Sh. Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, apprised the stakeholders about various initiatives taken by EPFO under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 such as E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, Bank, Adhar Seeding, Online ECR Filling, Salient Features of Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) Scheme, 1976, Employees Pension Scheme 1995 benefits for the Registered Employees and other benefits.
During discussions, the members present raised number of issues pertaining to the EPFO Office for which feedback forms has been taken from the Members and on spot directions has been given by Sh. Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, to resolve the issue on a priority basis.
Sh. Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer & Sh. Shamsher Singh, Sr. SSA addressed the members present in the program & power point representation was also given during the seminar.
During the program, a Special Pension Help Desk was also setup for taking the grievance of Pensioners & the Pension Payment Orders (PPO) was also hand over to the beneficiaries.
