REASI, MAY 20: District administration Reasi today provided relief material to a family affected by an overnight fire incident, here at village Agarjito.
Soon after receiving the information, Deputy Commissioner, Charandeep Singh directed the Tehsildar Katra to assess the damage and submit the report to his office.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Katra reported that the house of one Namely Madan Lal resident of Garn (Agarjito) Tehsil Katra was damaged due to a fire incident.
After verifying the situation, Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to provide assistance to the affected family. The family was provided with a set of beds, two blankets, a pair of bed sheets, and pillows.
The DC further directed the concerned officers to provide the affected family benefit of welfare scheme under which it is eligible.
The family has expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for prompt assistance.
