DODA, APRIL 14: The Fire & Emergency day was today observed in Doda district to pay tributes to brave firemen who laid down their lives while saving the life and property of the people.
The Fire & Emergency day was observed throughout the J&K on the directions of Director General Fire & Emergency Services, Dr. B. Srinivas, and Deputy Director Fire & Emergency Services G.L Pandita.
In Doda district, the main function was held at District Headquarters Fire & Emergency Station Doda in which rich tributes were paid to the martyrs.
Mohammad Jaffar, Station Officer paid homage to the gallant firemen who sacrificed their lives for the noble cause and highlighted the ethos of April 14th.
