Poonch, Sept 24: Five Army personnel were injured on Wednesday morning when the Tavera vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in the Ghani area of Sector Mankote, Poonch district.
According to officials, the vehicle, bearing registration number JK02 AW 1387, was en route from Dhara Dullian to Jammu around 7:15 am when it skidded off the road. The injured soldiers, posted at Balnoi Nangi Takeri, were travelling on leave at the time of the accident. A replacement vehicle was arranged to continue their journey.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. The condition of the injured personnel has not been disclosed, and authorities are monitoring the situation.
