The Members present in the meeting conveyed their Heartiest Congratulations to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and expressed that the Industrial Fraternity of Jammu is Overwhelmed and has a lot of Expectations from the New Government under your able leadership to ensure the Revival and strengthening of the Existing ailing Industrial Sector of J&K, mostly run by the Sons of the Soil.
Sh. Lalit Mahajan also draws the kind attention of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Omar Abdullah towards the long pending Issues related to the Existing Working Industrial Units which include the Turnover Incentive, GST Linked Incentives at par with the NCSS-2021 Scheme of Govt. Of India to Existing Units and Units under Substantial Expansion/ change in the line of activity/Diversification, Marketing Support in the shape Purchase/Price Preference for the supply of Finished Goods to JKUT Govt. Departments and other issues related to the Industrial Sector of J&K State and it is need of the hours to resolve the issues on a priority basis to regain the confidence of Working Existing Industrial Units who are providing Direct and Indirect Employment to Lakhs of Local People but suffering due to Dilution of above Fiscal Incentives and facing stiff competition from the New Units being established under the NCSS 2021 Scheme of Govt. of India.
Sh. Omar Abdullah, Hon’ble Chief Minister listened to the current scenario of the Industrial sector patiently & assured that his Govt. will provide Hand Holding Support for the Revival of the Existing Industrial Units of UT.
