Vijaypur, 13-06-2023: Yashpal Kundal, Former Minister and Chairman SC ST OBC Wing Aap Party has strongly condemned the power curtailment schedule announced by the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. Kundal said that as per the schedule, Jammu shall witness 2-hour long power cuts in urban areas and even longer power cuts in rural areas.
Kundal said that unscheduled power cuts are much more than the scheduled power cuts. Kundal said that BJP boasts of ushering in a new era of growth and development in J&K. But the power cuts being faced by the residents of UT of J&K have exposed the false claims of BJP. Kundal said that electricity is the prime source of power and all businesses and industrial operations depend upon electricity.
The unavailability of 24 hours power supply adversely affects the development. Kundal said that summer is at its peak and the people are suffering due to scheduled as well as non-scheduled power cuts. Kundal said that all the promises of the BJP have proved to be rhetoric only and the BJP has utterly failed to turn its rhetoric into reality. He said that BJP is busy with image-saving activities and has turned a blind eye toward the miseries of the people. Kundal demanded that the government should ensure 24 hours power supply in UT of J&K. Kundal said that BJP has failed to provide 24 hours electric power supply to residents of UT and the residents of UT shall ensure that BJP is kept out of power in UT of J&K.
