Jammu, 07-11-2020: Peeved over the participation of Prof.Bhim Singh in the Gupkar Alliance Conference against the decision of the party, the top leadership of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party has removed him from the position of Party Patron. The announcement was made in a joint press conference by Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Chairman–JKNPP, Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia State President, and Mr. Yash Paul Kundal General Secretary.
Addressing the media in a press conference today, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP said that Prof.Bhim Singh had lost his nerve due to the age factor and had been showing in consonance with the ideology of Panthers party and hobnobbing with the elements inimical to the interests of Jammu region. He said that the decision of the party not to participate in the People’s Alliance conference of the Gupkar gang was duly conveyed to him by the party leadership but he chose to defy the same for the reasons best known to him. “The participation of Bhim Singh and Ms. Anita Thakur in the conference of PAGD held in Jammu today is therefore not only a violation of the party stand but has also hurt the sentiments of the people of incarcerated Jammu region. This has forced us to remove him and his accomplice from all party positions in Panthers Party with immediate effect. We have been fighting for the cause of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the Jammu region province in particular. We have allegiance towards our people and Nationalistic ethos. The Panthers Party is committed to safeguarding and promoting our composite culture, communal harmony, and brotherhood in the Jammu region at all costs. But there is no space in the party for those who disrespect the urges and aspirations of the people of the Jammu region and its collective sentiments. JKNPP is a Nationalist organization that has zero tolerance for the elements embarking on secessionist and anti-national agenda, no matter who he or she may be”, asserted Harsh vociferously.
Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia, State President–JKNPP and Mr. Yash Paul Kundal, General Secretary–JKNPP said that Panthers Party stands against the Gupkar alliance and its ant-National, anti-Jammu and ant- people stance. We believe in equitable treatment to all regions but shall always stand for the cause of Jammu and confront all those who want to treat our Dogra land as their colony. Restoration of Dogra honour and pride is our avowed objective and we are prepared to make any sacrifices for its achievement, the NPP leaders said.
