Dudu Basantgarh, 11-08-2023 : Continuing the fervor of Independence Day celebrations, the “Meri Matti Mera Desh” campaign, jointly organized by AKAM and G20, entered its third day with a remarkable event. A spirited Tiranga rally was orchestrated at GDC Dudu Basantgarh to commemorate the 76th Independence Day, symbolizing unity, patriotism, and the nation’s vibrant spirit. The rally was splendidly led by the esteemed Principal of the College, Prof. Anirudh Sharma.
During the rally, Prof. Sharma elaborated on the profound significance behind the three colors of the Tiranga, the Indian national flag. He conveyed to the participating students that the Tiranga rally holds a paramount role in nurturing a sense of patriotism, a sentiment deeply intertwined with the essence of nation-building. Prof. Sharma emphasized that these students, as the architects of the nation’s future, stand to gain a deeper understanding of unity through such initiatives.
Furthermore, the Principal urged the students to adhere to the principles of truth and nonviolence, values that epitomize Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy. Prof. Sharma also cautioned against the allure of detrimental habits like smoking and drug addiction, underlining the importance of making choices that uphold personal well-being and contribute positively to society.
Amidst fervent patriotic slogans, the Tiranga rally commenced from the premises of the Degree College, embarking on a symbolic journey to Basantgarh morh, covering a distance of around one or half a kilometer. The exuberance and nationalistic zeal displayed by the participating students reverberated throughout the rally, encapsulating their enthusiasm for a brighter, united India.
As the rally concluded its spirited journey, it marked its culmination at the premises of GDC Dudu Basantgarh.
