24-12-2021: Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Govt. Degree College Dudu Basantgarh organized a poster-making competition in response to Implementing a scheme called “Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (14C)” for dealing with Cyber Crime on 24-12-2021 under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov. Students of the college enthusiastically participated in the program and expressed their ideas through posters regarding the daily cases of cybercrime.
As we know Cyber Crime is more dangerous than other crimes. People so
spread hate, rumors, conflict, and confusion on social media sites. Cases of privacy breach, account hacking, online threats, cyber loafting, online fishing, and trolling are seen day by day, people use virtual proxy networks and other firewalls for accessing banned cites and commit online crimes.
A welcome address was presented by Mr. Nazeer Ahmad, speaking on the event, he said that we must make educate children about the positive use of the internet and other online services, we shout not share our personal details unauthorisedly to anybody.
Student of semester3rd. Mr. Surjeet Kumar got the first position in the competition. Palma Devi student of semester 3rd. secured second position while Santhosh Kumari and Poonam Devi of semester 3rd jointly bagged the third position. Dr. Mudasir Ahmad, Ms.Astha Gupta, and Dr.P.P.Singh acted as jury members. In the closing ceremony, the vote of thanks was given by Prof. Pradeep Kumar (Nodal Officer of Red Ribbon Club) and congratulate the winners of the competition.
