NEW DELHI, Aug 13: Google has launched its latest Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, placing artificial intelligence at the centre of its newest hardware push with upgraded processors, cameras and deeper Gemini integration.
The company unveiled the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold at its latest Made by Google event. All four smartphones are powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, designed to improve performance and on device artificial intelligence capabilities.
Google said the new chip delivers significantly higher TPU computing capacity, while on device AI processing is designed to operate faster and with greater energy efficiency than the previous generation.
The Pixel 11 series also brings several camera improvements. The standard Pixel 11 features an upgraded main camera and enhanced zoom capabilities, while the Pro models receive more advanced camera hardware and up to 120x Pro Zoom.
Google has also introduced new AI-powered photography tools, including Magic Capture and Camera Looks, allowing users to capture moments and apply customised visual styles.
The Pixel 11 Pro models feature a redesigned camera bar with an integrated HiLight system that can provide visual notifications and indicate Gemini activity.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has also received design improvements, with Google making the foldable thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The device comes with 16GB of RAM and continues to combine a large foldable display with AI-powered features.
In India, the Pixel 11 is priced from Rs 89,999, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL start at Rs 1,19,999 and Rs 1,34,999, respectively. Pre-orders have opened, with sales scheduled to begin on August 20.
Google has simultaneously expanded its hardware ecosystem with the Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag, while adding new AI capabilities across its connected devices.
The launch underlines Google’s strategy of making generative and on-device AI a central part of its smartphone experience rather than treating it as a standalone software feature.
