Delhi/Jammu, 25:10.2025: Dr. Udit Raj, National Chairman of the DOMA Confederation, and his recently retired wife, Seema Raj, live in the government accommodation allotted to them during their service. Yesterday, the government forcibly vacated the accommodation and threw all their belongings onto the street, while the case is in court and scheduled for a hearing on October 28th. The BJP government has already withdrawn the security provided to former MP Dr. Udit Raj, as Udit Raj represents Dalits, backward classes, minorities, and tribals.
It is a matter of concern that the government shows little respect for the courts. The government does not respect the Constitution. Dr. Udit Raj wants to tell society that the government has a Manuwadi mindset. Thousands of retired and political leaders in the country own government accommodation that, unlike Udit Raj and Seema Raj’s house, has not been vacated, even while the case is pending in court.
Why has the government done this to Dr. Udit Raj and Seema Raj? Because they fight for society. Dr. Udit Raj spent the entire night yesterday on the road. The society will definitely have to think about this and in the coming days, we will have to remain united to protect the Constitution and will have to participate in the Bhim Rally at Ramlila Maidan on 30th November 2025, which is going to be held to save the Constitution and save the rights!
We strongly condemn this move of the government and demand that the government reverse this move so that a retired lady and a prominent leader of the society can return home with respect.
