A groom in Pakistan has gifted an AK-47 rifle as his wedding gift from his mother-in-law. A video has surfaced on the internet, where a woman can be seen gifting the rifle, which is known as ‘Kalashnikov rifle’ to the groom. People cheered and threw flower petals while the woman gifted the rifle to the groom. A journalist from Pakistan, Adeel Ahsan shared the video on the microblogging site, Twitter.

As can be seen in the video that none of the guests were scared of the rifle that was presented to the groom. However, the exact date and the location of the video is unknown. The internet citizens made fun of as well as slammed the gun control measures of the country.
