Jammu, 14 September 2025: BJP State Secretary Pawan Sharma today launched a scathing attack on the Gupkar Gang—Congress, National Conference (NC) and PDP—accusing them of surviving only on a fragile “Mehraj political bubble” after the recent rains and floods in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma said Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti are under the illusion that by spreading hatred, division, and negativity, they can reclaim their lost political ground. “But the people of Jammu and Kashmir are politically mature and have seen through their deceit and failures. This bubble politics will burst before it even floats,” he asserted.
The BJP leader reminded that these very parties, who once boasted of ruling an entire state, today find themselves incapable of even managing the affairs of a Union Territory. “Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah, despite ruling J&K for decades, left behind a legacy of corruption and dynastic arrogance. Mehbooba Mufti brought nothing but instability and appeasement politics. If they continue on this path of misleading people and clinging to divisive agendas, a day is not far when they will not even be trusted to run a municipality,” Sharma said.
He added that the Gupkar Gang’s desperation reflects its political irrelevance in the new Jammu and Kashmir that is moving ahead under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The ground of National Conference, Congress and PDP is shrinking because they offer nothing but failed promises, corruption, and hatred. BJP offers peace, progress, and prosperity,” he said.
Highlighting BJP’s vision, Sharma underlined that the Modi government is working to empower youth and women, strengthen grassroots democracy, boost infrastructure, create employment opportunities, and integrate J&K fully into the journey of Viksit Bharat.
“While Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti chase bubbles of hate, BJP is building the future. Jammu and Kashmir will never again fall prey to their false narratives. The people have chosen development over division, and BJP will continue to deliver on that promise,” Sharma concluded.
