REASI, JULY 15: General Zorawar Singh Government Degree College on Friday organised a one day workshop on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Startup on the college campus.
The aim of this program was to sensitize the college students about the concept of entrepreneurship, innovation and startup schemes initiated by the ministry of education.
Haribhushan from Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) and Ajay Kumar Sareen, Ministry of labor and Employment (Govt Of India) were the resource persons of the event.
The programme broadly envisaged a three tiered approach that is developing achievement motivation and sharpening of entrepreneurial traits and behavior among college going students; project planning, development and guidance on industrial opportunities and schemes initiated by the government for the upliftment of unemployed youth of the nation.
A lecture series on “Significance of Gandhian Thoughts and values” “Importance of Fundamental Duties” under the banner of “Shikshit Bharat Abhiyan” was also delivered on the occasion.
Prof. Praveen Akhter, Prof. Rekha Gupta, Prof. Upasna Bhagat, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Prof. Prabjhot Kour, Prof Pal;vinder Kumari and Prof. Ajay Kumar were also present in the event.
