JAMMU, Aug 12: The ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ witnessed the transformation of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign into a nationwide festival.This was stated by Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu while leading a Tiranga Rally in the Deeli area of Jammu today.
The Tiranga rally, organized by BJYM Jammu District unit, in which District President Rekha Mahajan, DDC member Prof Gharu Ram, Vikram Randhawa (ex MLC), Vinay Gupta, Ayodhya Gupta, Narinder Koki, Shallu Gupta, Pushpinder Charak, Akash Chopra, Ajay Gupta Corporator, Karuna Chhetri, Rakesh Singh Charak Raka, Pawan Sharma, Sandeep Gupta, Arjun Suri, Gagandeep Singh, Ragav Arora, Vikram Singh, Sandeep Charak Mahadev, Kulbir Singh, Sultan Singh, Nitin Thapa, Ajay Badan, KulbirKour, and Madan Lal were present.
During his address, Kavinder highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and its role in promoting patriotism across the country. As India gears up to celebrate its 77th Independence Day, he urged people to hoist the national flag at their rooftops between August 13 and 15, commemorating the country’s independence. He commended PM Modi for Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan which has now turned out as a mass movement across the country in general and J&K UT in particular.
Kavinder emphasized that Independence Day holds great importance as it reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to liberate the nation from British rule. He further emphasized that the Tricolour symbolizes India’s inclusive character, commitment to harmonious growth, and a reflection of the country’s unity in diversity.
As the nation celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the senior BJP leader called for unity among all citizens and their collective efforts to keep the National Flag flying high. By doing so, it would be a befitting tribute to the countless freedom fighters and valiant soldiers who have fought relentlessly to protect the nation from external threats, he stated.
He appealed to the people to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision a success.
