India, May 24 : Healthcare authorities issued fresh advisories after rising temperatures triggered an increase in heat-related illnesses across multiple states. Hospitals reported more cases of dehydration, fatigue and heatstroke during the weekend.

Doctors urged people to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure, drink adequate water and take precautions during peak afternoon hours. Elderly individuals and children were identified as the most vulnerable groups.

Public health departments have also increased awareness campaigns and emergency preparedness measures as summer conditions intensify.
