Mumbai, Sep 26 : JioHotstar has premiered Hunkkaar: The Roar, a new Hindi-language courtroom crime thriller featuring Aneet Padda, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Arjun Mathur and Raghubir Yadav. The six-episode series began streaming on September 25, 2026, adding another socially charged drama to the latest OTT release lineup.
Created by Karan D Kapadia and Nitya Mehra, the series centres on a teenage girl who accuses a powerful spiritual leader of sexual assault. The story follows the consequences of that accusation as the case moves through the police and legal systems, bringing questions of influence, public image and institutional pressure into the narrative.
