UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 11: To finalize the arrangements for the smooth celebration of Independence Day 2021 at Tehsil Headquarter Ramnagar, a meeting of Sectoral officers was held under the Chairmanship of Sub –Divisional Magistrate Gopal Singh at Tehsil Office here today.
Detailed discussions were held on various issues regarding seating arrangement, barricading, security, traffic regulation, drinking water, and power supply, sanitation, first-aid, fire-tenders, PAS, etc.
During the meeting, SDM Ramnagar informed that the main function would be held in the premises of Government Model Higher Secondary School, where the chief guest would unfurl the National flag at 8:55 Am. He added that the whole programmes will be conducted by following COVID- 19 SOPs.
The SDM directed the officers of PHE, PWD, PDD, Health, and Police department to make adequate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the National festival. The municipality was asked to maintain cleanliness in the town as well as at the venue. The SDM asked the officers to make all our efforts for the success of the celebration of the prestigious day well in advance. He called upon the officers and employees of all departments to remain present at the venue on the day of function.
