India, Feb 05 : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled comprehensive broadcast plans for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, featuring 20 teams competing across 55 matches from February 7 to March 8. Co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the tournament will be available globally via television, digital streaming, audio services, and emerging immersive platforms.
Warm-up matches ahead of the main event will also be televised and streamed on select platforms, offering fans an early glimpse of participating teams.
India Broadcast: In India, the tournament will be broadcast by JioStar on Star Sports and the JioHotstar digital platform. Coverage will be available in five languages English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada—with additional regional feeds in Bengali, Bhojpuri, and Haryanvi. Marathi and Indian Sign Language commentary will be offered for India’s matches, semi-finals, and the final. Mobile-first viewers can also access vertical live feeds, 360-degree views, and multi-camera angles, including Hero, Stump, Field, Battery, and Multi-View options. Nationwide match screenings will be held through PVR – Inox.
Sri Lanka Broadcast: Dialog TV will cover the tournament across Sri Lanka, including linear TV, Dialog Play app, and ThePapare.com, with Sinhala commentary available. Free-to-air coverage will be provided by TV Supreme and Sri Lanka Telecom’s PEO TV.
Global Coverage:
UK & Ireland: Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event; Hindi commentary for semi-finals and final. Italy matches also on Sky Italia.
Australia & New Zealand: Prime Video and SKY Sport, with Hindi commentary for India’s matches, semi-finals, and final.
Pakistan: PTV and Myco with digital partners Tamasha, ARY Zapp, and Tapmad; Urdu commentary on PTV Home.
USA & Canada: Willow TV will live stream all matches in English and Hindi, free access to USA matches, and alternative commentary via Jomboy for select games.
Middle East & MENA: CricLife Max via StarzPlay, with cinema screenings through VOX, Reel, Roxy, Cinepolis, Star, Mukta, and Epix Cinema.
Africa: SuperSport covers all live action.
Latin America & Caribbean: Disney+ for Latin America; ESPN for Caribbean islands with Portuguese commentary in Brazil.
Bangladesh, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Singapore, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Netherlands: Local broadcasters including T Sports, Nagorik TV, Kantipur TV, PNG Digicel, Hub Sports 4, Lemar TV, Astro Cricket, PCCW, NOS, providing commentary in local languages.
