NEW DELHI, Feb 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on Monday at Bharat Mandapam, formally opening a five-day international platform focused on artificial intelligence innovation and collaboration.
Scheduled from February 16 to 20, the mega event will be held alongside the India AI Impact Summit at the same venue. Spread across more than 70,000 square metres and divided into 10 specialised arenas, the gathering is positioned as one of the country’s largest technology showcases to date.
Built around the thematic pillars of People, Planet and Progress, the exhibition aims to demonstrate how emerging technologies are influencing governance, sustainability and economic growth. Organisers describe it as a convergence point where policymaking intersects with practical implementation and scalable innovation.
Thirteen nations will feature dedicated country pavilions, highlighting cross-border cooperation in advanced digital systems. Participating countries include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, along with representation from African partners.
More than 600 startups are expected to participate, many showcasing solutions already deployed at population scale. The programme also includes over 300 curated exhibits and live demonstrations designed to offer real-time insights into applications across sectors.
The five day schedule features over 500 sessions with more than 3,250 speakers and panellists from government, academia and industry. Attendance is projected to exceed 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates.
According to an official statement, the initiative is intended to strengthen partnerships, accelerate innovation-driven growth and reinforce India’s role within the evolving global AI ecosystem.
