Rifleman Shubham Sharma, serving valiantly with the 8-JAK RIF, immortalized his name in the annals of heroism when he attained martyrdom on October 1, 2020, while defending our nation during an unprovoked ceasefire violation in the Naugam sector of Kupwara. His supreme act of courage stands as an enduring testament to the unwavering commitment of our armed forces in safeguarding India’s sovereignty and security.
Tony, while paying homage to Martyr Shubham Sharma, remarked, “India will remain forever indebted to our martyrs, like Shubham Sharma, who have laid down their lives to protect our nation’s sovereignty.
