JAMMU,14-09-2023: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday paid rich tributes to the security personnel who got martyrdom in separate encounters in Rajouri and Anantnag districts.
In a statement issued to media persons, Kavinder said that the loss of lives of security personnel by the ultras sponsored by Pakistan will kindle urge among the security forces to further intensify the anti-terror operations as India will never allow Pak designs to take shape in Kashmir. He criticized the local political class including NC leadership for advocating talks with Pakistan. He recalled the 1971 war with Pakistan when the Indian army forced 90,000 Pak soldiers to surrender.
He said that during that time, India gave back the areas captured by the army but Pakistan being a rogue nation has no regrets and is continuing with its anti-India stance making it necessary for the country to speak with that nation in the same language which it is using. He also slammed Congress for opposing the government on each and every issue despite the fact that most of the problems in J&K are only due to that party. He said that the army and other security forces are upbeat and fully capable of taking head-on all the challenges being posed by Pakistan through its proxy war ploy.
Meanwhile, Kavinder took part in a candle march taken out to pay homage to fallen soldiers in the aforesaid encounters. He said while addressing the participants that India will foil all the nefarious designs conceived by the rogue nation Pakistan, and sooner than later peace will prevail in J&K.
