India’s first sea-plane service started from Kevadia in Gujarat

Ahmedabad / Kevadia, 31 October (HC). On the occasion of the 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first seaplane service in the country today. Sea-plane service has started in two places in Gujarat from today. The Prime Minister earlier inaugurated the Narmada Water Aerodrome at Kevadia. After this, reached Ahmedabad by seaplane and inaugurated the Sabarmati Water Aerodrome here. Here the  Governor, Chief Minister, Home Minister welcomed Prime Minister Modi.
On the second day of his Gujarat visit, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the Iron Man Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his statue in Kevadia. After this, Prime Minister Modi joined the parade of national unity. At 11 am, the  Prime Minister addressed the civil service officials. After this, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Narmada Water Aerodrome at 11.45 am. Here in Kevadia, Prime Minister Modi launched the country’s first seaplane service. After this, Prime Minister Modi took off from Spice Jet’s Sea Plane to Ahmedabad at 1 pm. Modi landed at Ahmedabad Sabarmati River at 1:45 pm. He inaugurated the Sabarmati Water Aerodrome here. They then left for Erport by car  .
It is noteworthy that earlier during the 2017 Gujarat assembly elections, Narendra Modi came here on the sea-plane. His dream project was to start a maritime flight service in his home state of Gujarat.(HC)
