New Delhi, Sep 30: An IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Delhi was flagged with a bomb threat on Tuesday morning, according to sources. Flight 6E 762, carrying around 200 passengers, received a non-specific security threat.
An IndiGo spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating, “Following the established protocol, we immediately informed the relevant authorities and fully cooperated in conducting necessary security checks before the aircraft was cleared for operations.”
A full emergency was declared at Delhi airport while security teams carried out inspections. The Airbus A321neo aircraft landed safely at 7:53 am, as per flight tracking website Flightradar24.com.
The airline added, “We have made all efforts to minimise inconvenience to our customers, including providing refreshments and regular updates.”
