Israel, May 08 : Fresh violence erupted in the Middle East after Israel carried out airstrikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs, marking the first major attack near the Lebanese capital since a ceasefire agreement was announced earlier this year.
Israeli officials stated that the operation targeted a senior commander linked to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Forces. The strike immediately raised fears that the fragile truce between Israel and Lebanon could collapse completely.
