“The people are advised to move cautiously along the canals and desist from bathing, swimming, and washing clothes to avoid any untoward incidents as kharief season is in full swing, all canals are running with full capacity, and closing of canals shall have a great impact on crops at tail reaches of irrigation network” a handout issued by the department stated.
