JAMMU, FEBRUARY 11-: Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu, Vijay Kumar Sharma today visited Mathwar to finalize the preparations for smooth celebration of the annual Basant Panchmi Utsav at Darbar of Shri Mathwar Wale Baba Ji.
The ACR chaired a meeting and reviewed the preparations. The meeting was informed that the Mela is commencing on February 14 and will culminate on February 16.
The meeting was attended by senior functionaries of the Rural Development Department, Security Forces, Transport, PHE, PDD, PWD, Health, Police, BSNL, and other concerned departments.
The ACR took stock of the arrangements being made by the concerned departments, including the provision of power, water supply, sanitation, availability of essentials, transport, fire tenders, besides medical facilities at the venue.
The ACR stressed close synergy among different departments for making timely arrangements for the smooth celebration of Basant Panchmi Utsav.
