08-06-2023 : In order to ensure the smooth and successful organization of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has appointed two experienced officers as nodal officers. The pilgrimage, which is set to commence from July 1, is a significant event that attracts a large number of devotees every year.
According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department, Dr. Raghav Langer, who serves as the Secretary to the Government in the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department, has been designated as the nodal officer for the Baltal Axis. Similarly, Dr. Piyush Singla, the Administrative Secretary in the Revenue Department, has been appointed as the nodal officer for the Pahalgam Axis.
As nodal officers, Dr. Langer and Dr. Singla will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the various aspects of the Amarnath Yatra.
