Jammu, Sept 30: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has issued new school timings for all government and private institutions across the division, effective from October.
According to the order, schools in the Summer Zone will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during October, shifting to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM from November onwards. Schools within Jammu Municipal Corporation limits and adjacent urban areas will continue following the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule.
In the Winter Zone, schools will observe timings from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM starting October 1.
The department has emphasized strict compliance, warning that action will be taken against any institutions that fail to adhere to the revised schedule.
