J&K Administration Reshuffles IAS, JKAS Officers in Major Bureaucratic Overhaul

IAS and JKAS officers shifted to new postings with immediate effect

JAMMU, May 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday carried out a fresh administrative reshuffle, ordering the transfer and posting of two officers with immediate effect in the interest of smooth governance and public administration.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), IAS officer Pranjal J. Hazarika of the AGMUT cadre, batch 2021, has been transferred from the Labour and Employment Department, where he was serving as Additional Secretary to the Government.

He has now been appointed as Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Baramulla against an available vacancy.

In another appointment, Vishavjeet Singh, JKAS, who was awaiting a posting order in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Billawar.

He replaces Vinay Khosla, JKAS, who has been directed to await further adjustment orders in the General Administration Department.

The transfers and postings were ordered with immediate effect under the directions of the Lieutenant Governor-led administration.

The official order was issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, M. Raju, IAS.
