08-08-2021: In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in a first of its kind, the famous Clock Tower situated at Lal Chowk in the heart of Srinagar city was illuminated in Tricolour ahead of the forthcoming 75th Independence Day celebrations by Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC).
Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Junaid Azim Mattu took to Twitter and shared the photographs of the illuminated Clock Tower which has also been fitted with brand new small clocks at the top of the Tower.
