JAMMU, Jan 27: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a revision in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees under the 7th Pay Commission, increasing it from 50% to 53% of the basic pay, effective from July 1, 2024.
As per the order, the arrears for the additional DA installment, covering July to December 2024, will be disbursed in cash in February 2025, forming part of the monthly salary from January 2025 onward.
