Jammu, 14-02-2025: The Advocates Residential Colony Committee of the J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu, led by the President of JKHCBAJ, K. Nirmal Kotwal, comprising of former Presidents Sh. DK Khajuria and S. DS Saini, Adv. MR Qureshi, Adv. Raghu Mehta, Adv. S. Baldev Singh, Adv. Pardeep Majotra, Adv. Anshu Mahajan and Adv. Rahul Aggarwal, called upon the Chairman of the J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd., Sh. Balbir Singh Manhas and Managing Director Sh. Bharat Bhushan Sharma at the office of J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd.
The committee deliberated upon the long-pending demands of advocates in Jammu for the setting up of a residential colony for advocates in Jammu. It was decided in the meeting that the committee members shall visit the sites available with the cooperation before initiating the process of finalizing and procuring the location for setting up of a residential colony. It was further decided that a multistory building, comprising flats at affordable rates, shall be constructed for advocates to and cater to the rising accommodation demand of the advocates practicing at Jammu.
The committee was accompanied by Adv. Amarvir Manhas, Adv. Pooja Pandit, and Adv. Chander Dev Manhas.
Chairman of the Cooperation, Sh. Balbir Singh Manhas reassurance the committee that the Corporation will take every step to fulfill the long pending demand for establishment of an Advocate’s Residential Colony/Society in Jammu.
